Former song-writer and bass guitarist of the rock band "DriveSHAFT", also joined was his older brother Liam, who was the lead singer. Their band was a major big hit, very popular from the well known song "You All Everybody", but they had unfortunately met their end. It started with Charlie's brother, who was controlling of the band, his behaviour was authoritative yet contemptuous due to his terrible addiction to heroin. Charlie knew that Liam was causing serious damage to himself, and wanted to put an end to it all, he realised he allowed things to go a bit too far. Broken over the deep situation he was in, Charlie submitted himself to Liam's stash.

Later, with the success of DriveSHAFT being over and gone, and Charlie who was sucked deeper into the dark deadly call that was heroin, he'd officially became a junkie. He was romantically involved with Lucy Heatherton, a wealthy woman. Her father acquired a job for him in selling copiers, but Charlie's relationship broke off with Lucy when she discovered his plans to rob her.. after he started to have real feelings for her. She bidded her goodbyes in a furious manner, with the state that he couldn't take care of anyone, right before she closed the door in his face.

Charlie found the opportunity to start an eight-week comeback opening tour for DriveSHAFT, along with another band named "Meat Coat". He flew to Sydney, Australia to visit Liam, who had been clean from his drug addiction, married, and settled down. Charlie tried to convince his brother to reunite with the band, but Liam declined, and offered Charlie to remain with him instead, to be treated for his drug problem, but Charlie angrily refused him. He had a flight booked to Los Angeles the next day, and left.

Unfortunately, things didn't turned out the way Charlie had planned...
